If you can't find an answer below, please contact me via my email: chorleywould@gmail.com
Chorley would is based near London in the UK. Please keep this is mind when acknowledging return and exchange times.
I pride myself on selling jewellery that does not fade, tarnish or change colour quickly. Quality and style go hand-in-hand.
Returns are only accepted if the item is damaged on arrival. I will accept items bought only within the specified return window (10 days from your order being placed).
Please note, change of heart is not a valid return reason. Ordering the wrong size of an item is also not accepted.
Please email me to start the return process for your item(s). Make sure to include your full name, address and order reference number. I will instruct you further, depending on your situation via email. Please email: chorleywould@gmail.com
Jewellery cannot not be returned unless damaged/faulty.
Chorley would reserves the right to refuse return services where deemed necessary.
For hygiene reasons, I do not accept exchanges.
Remove your jewellery before coming into contact with any moisture. Whilst not being worn, store in pouch/box provided. If one has been provided in your order, use your polishing cloth to refresh the shine and clarity of the metal. Jewellery cleaning cloths can also be affordably bought in most supermarkets and online.
Gold/silver plated pieces:
I do not recommend that any of the 18k gold or 925 sterling silver plated items come into contact with water, creams, perfume or makeup. Contact with water or other liquids will void your refund or exchange window. Avoid friction, sweating, perfumes, cosmetics, water, store in the pouch provided and take off when sleeping.
Rolled gold (Gold filled) pieces:
I do not recommend that any rolled gold/gold filled items come into contact with water, creams, perfume or makeup. Contact with water or other liquids will void your refund or exchange window. Avoid friction, sweating, perfumes, cosmetics, water, store in the pouch provided and take off when sleeping.
Stainless steel:
Stainless steel is durable and resists corrosion and oxidation. It will not rust, tarnish, or turn your skin green, even if worn daily or comes into contact with liquids. Avoid perfumes, cosmetics, store in the pouch provided and take off when sleeping.
Solid silver and gold pieces:
It's completely safe for any solid metals to come into contact with any liquids or moisture. Keep as dry as possible. Store in the velvet pouch provided to ensure it stays tarnish free for longer.
Plastic/Lucite pieces:
Plastic and lucite acrylic are not damaged by water, however, the acrylic inner paint can be chipped away or fade quicker with water. Any rhinestones that are glued in place are at more risk with potential water damage. Avoid friction, sweating, perfumes, cosmetics, water, store in the pouch provided and take off when sleeping.
With the proper care, 18k gold and 925 sterling silver plated and rolled gold jewellery can stay gold/silver for up to a year, or longer. This is because the pieces I sell have three layers of gold/silver plating to ensure longevity. They're perfect for every day wear.
Stainless steel jewellery will remain its original colour for years to come due to the hypoallergenic and tarnish-resistant nature of the metal. Everyday wear goes without saying!
Solid silver and gold pieces of jewellery will stay true to their colour (with the help of occasional cleaning and polishing) for a lifetime.
